COVID-19 Precautions
Prior to hosting an event in the community rooms, parking lot, or outdoor space, organizations will review the following rules, and is responsible to confirm that all persons comply with the rules.
At this time, face masks are recommended at PSF Community Center. Organizations utilizing the community rooms can decide whether or not to require face masks during meetings and events they hold in the community rooms.
As part of our standard operations, we employ professional cleaners, and we have increased the frequency of cleanings. In addition, we expanded our cleaning service to include disinfecting surfaces in our common areas and community rooms like doorknobs, handrails, tables and chairs. We ask everyone who uses the Community Center to support our efforts to keep the facility clean to reduce the risk of infection. At the conclusion of an event, organizations are required to thoroughly clean and disinfect the surfaces of tables and chairs they have used. Cleaning wipes will be provided.
The CDC recommends that you engage in the following precautions to aid in preventing the spread of cold, flu, and other illnesses that transmit this time of year:
• If you feel sick, please stay home and rest. This is the best way to avoid spreading any illness and make sure you get the rest you need to recover.
• Please wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Use Alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available. (There are sinks in the restrooms on the lower level, 1st floor and 2nd floor. Hand sanitizer stations are also available next to the elevator on the lower level, 1st floor and 2nd floor).
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. Throw it away immediately and wash your hands.
All organizations and all persons utilizing the PSF Community Center acknowledge that the use of the Community Center is optional, and all persons fully understand the potential risks of using the Community Center.
We will continue to monitor and follow any updates and recommendations from the CDC and Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
