PSF’s 2016 Annual Appeal (you can donate right here)
Dear Friend and Neighbor:
As we conclude another year, the Presentation School Foundation (PSF) thanks you for the support that has enabled us to provide services to the Allston-Brighton community.
In the PSF Community Center, our partner tenants provide services from affordable daycare and preschool and afterschool programming to programming serving young children and families, the elderly and visually impaired as well as food and home heating assistance programs.
The activities of the PSF Community Center have grown this year as we’ve launched new events, classes, and programs that serve and support the neighborhood. The list includes everything from family movie nights and cooking programs to senior luncheons, classes in first aid and self-defense. We also launched the Oak Square Farmers Market which was a great success. We continue to have dozens of local groups use the center regularly at no cost for their meetings—Girl Scouts, Voices of Harmony, Brighton Main Streets, the Health Collaborative, a local CSA, faith communities, mothers’ groups and many more. PSF has truly become the vibrant community anchor we all envisioned!
We need your assistance to continue these programs and to expand the services we provide. Please help by mailing your tax-deductible donation to: Presentation School Foundation, Inc., 640 Washington Street, Brighton, MA 02135, or you can use a credit card to donate using our secure online form. With your gift of $250 or more you will be given the opportunity to be part of PSF for many years to come with an engraved brick in the front of our building that will be added to the community center’s decorative walkway (please see the enclosed information).
We ask for your continued support to sustain the good work that happens every day in the PSF Community Center.
Oak Square wins again at PSF’s Annual Golf Tournament
It was another great day on the links for friends and supporters of the Presentation School Foundation Community Center, with over $7,000 raised to support services for people of all ages in and around Oak Square, Brighton.
Thanks to all who played in and sponsored this year’s tournament, and thanks also to Sandy Burr Golf Club in Wayland for hosting us out on the course and back at the clubhouse. See you next year, and be sure to check out photos from the day on our Facebook page– just click the picture below!
